Piergiorgio, known as Dodo, was born in 1944 in Torino.  Dodo's father was Jorge (Giorgio) Alberto Servente (Tealdy) and his mother was Concetta (Nucci) Serpi Servente (Decker).  His paternal grandparents were Jorge Alfredo Servente and Pierina Luisa Notari (Servente (de Tealdy)). He has a brother and a sister, named Didi and Chichi.  He is the oldest of the three children.
